FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Does Full Spectrum Tincture Mean?

Full Spectrum CBD means that all parts of the plant were used; this includes the stem, stalk, and flower. The hemp plant contains a plethora of minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, THC, etc.), terpenes, and flavonoids. Full spectrum CBD products will contain all of these elements in the final product, allowing you to make full use of the plant. Broad spectrum strips away as much of the trace amounts of THC as possible, while CBD isolate contains only CBD. Rather than limiting yourself to only the benefits of CBD, many users prefer to embrace the entire plant by using full-spectrum products. You may notice a stronger hemp flavor with full-spectrum products, resulting in a slightly bitter aftertaste that some users prefer to avoid.

Will Full Spectrum CBD Make Me Fail A Drug Test?

Drug tests are designed to locate the presence of THC metabolites, regardless of the type of THC consumed. Hemp-derived cannabinoids may contain trace amounts of THC, 0.3% or less as is mandated by the 2018 Farm Bill. Since the body processes THC in the form of metabolites, it is possible that you may fail a drug test due to the hemp-derived THC metabolites found in your body. Even if CBD is legal in your state, drug tests are unable to differentiate between hemp-derived THC and marijuana-derived THC. If you are subjected to random drug tests by your workplace, you may want to avoid any full-spectrum CBD products to avoid potentially failing a drug test

Why Choose A CBD Tincture With THC?

Full spectrum CBD products will contain trace amounts of THC, terpenes, minor cannabinoids, and other naturally-occurring compounds within the plant. Consuming full spectrum CBD products may deliver greater benefits than consuming CBD products that use only specific parts of the plant, a theory known as the entourage effect. While this phenomenon is not scientifically proven, many consumers swear by it and claim to feel greater benefits overall. If you are looking to experience the “full” benefits of the hemp plant, a full-spectrum CBD tincture may be just what you’re looking for!

Broad Spectrum vs. Full Spectrum CBD Oil?

There are three types of CBD products: Full-spectrum, Broad-spectrum, & Isolate. Full-spectrum CBD uses the entire plant, meaning the consumer can enjoy the “full” benefits of the hemp plant. Broad-spectrum removes as much of the trace amounts of THC as possible; this is ideal for consumers sensitive to THC or looking to avoid THC for personal or employment reasons. CBD isolate undergoes a rigorous process to deliver the purest form of CBD and nothing else. If you’re looking to avoid THC completely, CBD isolate may be the right type of CBD for you. Regardless of which type of CBD products you consume, you’ll still  get the benefits of CBD, just without the naturally-occuring minor cannabinoids, flavonoids, or terpenes.
